Job Overview: A growing law firm is seeking an experienced Title Review Attorney to join its dynamic team. The attorney will be responsible for handling title reviews for residential and commercial real estate transactions across multiple locations in North Carolina. This role requires a detailed understanding of real estate law, title reports, and property records. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and organizational skills and work collaboratively with other attorneys, staff, and clients to ensure accurate and efficient real estate closings.

Duties:

  • Review and analyze title reports for real estate transactions
  • Resolve title issues including encroachments, liens, judgments, and restrictions
  • Conduct title curative work and communicate with relevant parties to resolve issues
  • Advise clients and provide legal counsel regarding title insurance and real estate transactions
  • Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, and other parties involved in real estate closings
  • Draft legal documents and correspondence related to real estate transactions
  • Ensure all title documentation complies with state laws and regulations
  • Assist in facilitating smooth and timely real estate closings

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on title reviews
  • Familiarity with title insurance and property law
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Attention to detail and ability to resolve complex title issues

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:
