Duties:

  • Work on specialized fund investment transactions on behalf of investor clients.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced fund attorneys to provide expert legal services in asset management.
  • Handle complex asset management and private equity transactional work.
  • Assist in a variety of legal matters related to funds, including drafting documents and providing strategic advice.
  • Contribute to client service through excellent communication and relationship-building with investors and stakeholders.
  • Provide legal support in a remote, high-paced environment, ensuring efficiency and precision in all tasks.

Requirements:

  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school or equivalent.
  • Bar admission in the state where the firm maintains an office (location flexibility is allowed).
  • Proven experience or a strong interest in asset management, private equity, or related transactional work.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced work conditions and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent client service and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work independently while also contributing to team goals.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the MA Bar.

Skills:

  • Experience in asset management, private equity, securities, or related fields is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to facilitate client relationships and legal drafting.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
