Duties

  • Design, draft, and implement comprehensive estate plans.
  • Develop and execute estate tax and long-term care planning strategies.
  • Administer probate and trust estates.
  • Represent clients in probate court, when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Attorney and team members on case strategy.
  • Conduct legal research and perform regular file reviews.
  • Work directly with clients to meet their unique estate planning needs, including special needs planning and nursing home care planning.
  • Proactively manage client cases, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of legal services.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience in estate planning and trust administration.
  • Strong verbal communication and impeccable writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts in plain English.
  • A down-to-earth, approachable personality with a passion for helping families.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Desire to build long-term relationships with clients and the firm.
  • Ability to occasionally work outside of normal office hours to meet deadlines.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications
