Job Title: Mid-Level Associate Attorney – Insurance Defense

Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance defense matters, focusing on premises liability cases.
• Advise and counsel clients on legal rights and obligations, ensuring they are well informed throughout the case.
• Handle litigation from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategy and prepare legal arguments.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex case matters and strategies.
• Maintain client relationships, providing updates and strategic advice on ongoing cases.
• Manage and prioritize caseload efficiently, ensuring all deadlines are met.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance defense, with a strong focus on premises liability.
• Familiarity with New York Labor Law is highly preferred.
• Proven experience managing a caseload and handling complex legal matters.
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
