Job Overview:
A Houston-based law firm is seeking a qualified Eviction Attorney to manage and facilitate eviction cases on behalf of financial institutions and private clients. This role involves handling a high-volume caseload, representing clients in court, providing legal guidance, and conducting research and documentation for eviction processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal foundation, excellent communication abilities, and preferably prior experience in eviction litigation or similar practice areas.

Duties

  • Manage a caseload focused on eviction processes.
  • Provide clients with legal advice, support, and education regarding eviction-related matters.
  • Draft legal documents including complaints, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings; prior courtroom experience is beneficial.
  • Stay informed of evolving eviction laws and trends across the United States.

Requirements

  • An active member of the California State Bar.
  • Minimum of 1 year of legal practice experience.
  • Preferred experience in eviction, foreclosure, litigation, or title work.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree and Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Valid California State Bar license.
  • Additional Bar licenses are advantageous.
