Job Overview
A well-established immigration law firm in the Phoenix area is seeking an Associate Immigration Attorney with 1–4 years of experience to handle consular processing and related waiver cases. Duties

  • Manage a caseload of consular processing and waiver cases, including I-130, I-601A, I-212, I-601, and K-Visa matters

  • Prepare clients for consular interviews and USCIS appearances

  • Represent clients before USCIS and support them through complex immigration procedures

  • Review and finalize immigration packets prepared by legal staff

  • Provide strategic legal analysis to identify opportunities and case benefits

  • Draft and submit legal briefs and supporting materials for various immigration applications

  • Supervise and guide a team of paralegals to ensure client satisfaction and internal productivity targets

Requirements

  • 1 to 4 years of experience practicing immigration law

  • Prior experience managing a caseload independently

  • Background in consular processing and waiver applications preferred

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and legal staff

  • Commitment to client service and delivering results

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, goal-oriented setting

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in the United States (any state)

Skills

  • Strong legal research, writing, and briefing skills

  • Case management and client communication proficiency

  • Familiarity with USCIS procedures and consular interview preparation

  • Team leadership and staff supervision

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred, but not required

  • Experience with case management software (preferred)
