This full-time position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in landlord-tenant law and collections. The firm primarily represents property managers, landlords, and owners, providing legal services in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and ready to engage in significant court appearances and client interactions, with training and mentorship provided by the firm's experienced team.Duties:Represent clients in landlord-tenant disputes and collection matters.Handle a high volume of court appearances and litigation tasks.Draft legal documents, including leases, notices, and other landlord-tenant-related documents.Provide legal advice to property managers, landlords, and owners.Manage case files and maintain strong communication with clients.Participate in ongoing training and development with senior attorneys.Stay up to date with relevant laws and regulations in landlord-tenant law.Requirements:Strong interest in landlord-tenant law and collections.Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and manage multiple cases simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Must be proactive and able to work independently as well as within a team.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:An active Colorado Bar license is required.Skills:Ability to draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings and notices.Familiarity with court procedures and litigation processes.Excellent research and writing abilities.Strong interpersonal skills for effective client interactions.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
