Arlington office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an associate attorney with 0-5 years of litigation experience. The candidate will review legal documents such as pleadings, notices, and judgments. Will prepare for and attend court appearances in surrounding counties. Work closely with staff on collection and litigation activities. Draft discovery requests and responses. Research and analyze legal issues. Advise clients on tax matters. Communicate with taxpayers and attorneys. Develop and maintain relationships with clients. Participate in marketing and networking activities. Attend local evening and weekend events including statewide conferences. Draft memorandum for the firm and for clients. Assist with appellate matters. Manage a large caseload. Identify and analyze complex issues. Provide research that is thorough and responsive to the issue at hand. Write in an organized, clear, and concise manner. Work in a supervisory position. Must be licensed to practice law in Texas.
The candidate should be organized and complete work timely and accurate. Must be self-motivated and works with limited supervision. Committed to marketing and business development is required. Good communication skills are needed.
