Lateral Antitrust Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a highly skilled and experienced Lateral Antitrust Associate Attorney to join its team in Boston. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analyzing transactions for competition issues, navigating merger control filing requirements, and advocating before regulatory bodies such as the DOJ and FTC.

Duties:

• Analyze transactions for competition issues, focusing on merger control filing requirements.
• Conduct substantive analysis and address procedural issues related to the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act and implementing Rules.
• Manage filing logistics for HSR Act compliance.
• Advocate before regulatory bodies, including the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
• Provide legal counsel in technology, life sciences, and private equity transactions, with a focus on antitrust matters.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Relevant Bar admission in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
• Proven experience in antitrust law, particularly in analyzing transactions and merger control.
• Familiarity with the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act and its regulations.
• Outstanding academic credentials and comparable law firm experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Relevant Bar admission in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
