Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of contested foreclosure matters from initiation through trial.
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to foreclosure litigation.
  • Argue motions and represent clients in foreclosure trials throughout Ohio and Kentucky.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide legal advice and counsel on foreclosure and creditor’s rights matters.
  • Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Travel as needed to attend court hearings and trials throughout Ohio and Kentucky.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in creditor’s rights or foreclosure litigation.
  • Active admission and good standing with the Ohio Bar; Kentucky Bar admission is a plus.
  • Experience managing foreclosure litigation, including handling trials and arguing motions.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage a high-volume caseload.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active admission to the Ohio Bar required; Kentucky Bar admission is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents effectively.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn specialized legal software.
