Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join its personal injury practice in Southampton, PA. The role offers the opportunity to manage a full caseload, represent clients throughout the entire litigation process, and contribute to the growth of the firm's client base. The ideal candidate will bring experience in personal injury law and demonstrate a strong ability to negotiate settlements, handle litigation, and network within the legal community.

Duties

  • Represent clients in personal injury matters from case initiation through litigation and trial
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and other filings related to personal injury claims
  • Negotiate settlements and represent clients in depositions, arbitrations, and jury trials
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards, regulations, and professional ethical requirements
  • Manage a high-volume caseload independently while coordinating with the legal team
  • Engage in professional networking activities to grow the client base and bring in new cases

Requirements

  • 3-10 years of experience in plaintiff’s personal injury law
  • Strong litigation skills, including experience with jury trials and arbitration
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload from inception through trial or settlement
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain effective communication with clients
  • Motivation to bring in new clients and expand the firm’s personal injury practice

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school (required)

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania (required)
