Job Overview: A distinguished law firm is seeking a skilled Mergers & Acquisitions Associate with 3-5 years of relevant experience in handling public and private company mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience drafting transaction agreements and managing various aspects of M&A deals, working closely with clients and subject matter experts. This role is focused on M&A-specific legal work and is not a general corporate position.

Location:

  • Seattle, WA

Duties:

  • Serve as an integral associate on M&A transactions
  • Draft definitive transaction agreements for public and private mergers and acquisitions
  • Assist in managing all aspects of strategic transactions, including due diligence and disclosure letters
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure all legal requirements are met
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide strategic legal guidance
  • Participate in managing and executing complex M&A deals

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and strategic transactions
  • Strong track record of handling M&A deals, including drafting and managing transaction documents
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both clients and colleagues in high-stakes environments
  • Experience with both public and private company M&A

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Bar of the state where the candidate will be based (New York, California, or Washington) or eligibility for admission

Skills:
