Associate Attorney needed for Conroe office

This role involves working closely with partners and colleagues on all phases of litigation, including court appearances, legal document review, and client advising. Location:

• Conroe, Texas

Duties:

• Review and analyze legal documents such as pleadings, notices, and judgments
• Prepare for and attend court appearances in Montgomery and surrounding counties
• Collaborate with staff on collection and litigation activities
• Draft discovery requests and responses, as well as legal memoranda for firm and clients
• Conduct legal research and provide thorough analysis on complex legal issues
• Advise clients on tax matters and communicate with taxpayers and attorneys
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships
• Participate in marketing, networking, and business development activities
• Attend local, evening, and weekend events, including statewide conferences
• Assist with appellate matters as needed

Requirements:

• Active Texas Bar License
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to complete work accurately and timely
• Ability to work well in a team and independently with limited supervision
• Strong motivation for career growth and development, with an interest in business development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Texas

Skills:

• Ability to manage a large caseload efficiently
• Skilled in identifying and analyzing complex legal issues
• Strong research skills with the ability to produce thorough and responsive results
• Clear and concise legal writing
• Ability to work in a supervisory capacity

Preferred Experience:
