Duties

  • Collaborate with multiple partners to manage responsibilities across various construction litigation cases
  • Prepare and respond to discovery requests, including admissions, disclosures, interrogatories, and depositions
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and court proceedings
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients on construction-related disputes and issues
  • Analyze case law, statutes, regulations, and other legal documents impacting clients
  • Organize and manage documents in complex, multidistrict litigation cases
  • Apply critical thinking skills to solve complex legal problems and produce high-quality work

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience in construction litigation
  • Strong understanding of construction-related legal issues, including contract disputes, risk management, and construction defects
  • Excellent time and project management abilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong legal research and writing skills

Education

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Membership in the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA)
