Associate Attorney with 1-7 years of experience

A law firm in Columbus, OH, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-7 years of experience in litigation. The ideal candidate should possess strong oral advocacy and writing skills, adaptability to changing business lines, and the ability to manage a large volume of complex files in a fast-paced environment. Travel, including overnight stays within Ohio and nationally, may be required.

Duties:

• Handle a large volume of complex files in a fast-paced environment.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy.
• Maintain client relationships and provide regular updates on case progress.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
• 1-7 years of experience, preferably in litigation.
• Strong oral advocacy and writing skills.
• Adaptability to changing lines of business.
• Ability to manage a high volume of work efficiently.
• Experience with client interaction is a plus.
• Willingness to travel both within Ohio and nationally, including overnight stays.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
