A law firm seeks an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join its well-established team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, with at least five years of experience in a law firm or legal environment. This firm provides high-quality representation to both businesses and individuals in state and federal courts, focusing on complex civil litigation, regulatory compliance, and white-collar defense.

Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, including complex commercial disputes and regulatory defense actions.
• Handle all aspects of case preparation, from initial consultation through trial or settlement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to strategize and communicate legal approaches for clients.
• Communicate complex legal concepts to clients in a clear, understandable manner.
• Ensure attention to detail in legal analysis, drafting documents, and in day-to-day administrative tasks.
• Maintain excellent organizational skills, ensuring that all deadlines and filings are met.
• Participate in meetings, depositions, and trials as needed, contributing to case presentations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of five years of experience in civil litigation or related legal practice.
