Duties

  • Manage a caseload of Workers' Compensation cases, overseeing all aspects from depositions to trial and appeal

  • Conduct legal research and draft concise research articles for client newsletters
  • Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and appeals, delivering compelling arguments and achieving favorable outcomes
  • Draft legal documents such as motions, briefs, and pleadings
  • Provide educational presentations to clients and participate in other client-centered activities
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and contribute to the firm’s growth and success

Requirements

  • Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in Missouri or Illinois
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Preference for candidates with prior experience in Workers' Compensation law

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in Missouri or Illinois (required)
