Litigation Counsel

A law firm seeks an experienced and motivated Litigation Counsel to join its team in White Plains, NY. Duties

• Manage all aspects of litigation in state and federal courts, including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, and motion practice.
• Conduct depositions, hearings, and oral arguments.
• Develop and execute effective case strategies in complex litigation matters.
• Collaborate with team members to provide superior legal representation.
• Maintain strong client communication and provide timely updates on case progress.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in both state and federal courts.
• Proven ability to handle complex litigation independently and as part of a team.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar is required.
• Federal court admission is preferred.
