Duties:

• Take depositions of physicians and medical providers.
• Handle hearings related to workers' compensation claims.
• Update and maintain case management system with case progress and documentation.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, ensuring favorable outcomes.
• Conduct legal research using tools like Westlaw to support case strategies.
• Litigate cases in court, presenting evidence and arguments effectively.
• Keep up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and workers' compensation developments.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates on case progress and available legal options.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in New York (or ability to waive in).
• Proven experience in litigation, particularly in workers' compensation law, is preferred.
