Job Overview: A law firm in Austin, TX, is seeking a Litigation Support Attorney to join its team. The role involves managing and coordinating document review processes, ensuring the accuracy of legal documents, and supporting trial preparation efforts.

Job Duties:

  • Manage and lead document review teams, including creating manuals and establishing review workflows.
  • Conduct quality control reviews of legal documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Rectify inconsistencies or errors in document production as identified.
  • Create and maintain privilege logs, accurately reflecting privileged documents.
  • Summarize complex legal documents and evidentiary materials for case preparation.
  • Develop detailed chronologies of case events to support litigation strategy.
  • Analyze and organize case facts to construct comprehensive timelines.
  • Assist in deposition and trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and trial binders.
  • Coordinate with attorneys and paralegals to ensure trial readiness.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of substantive litigation experience.
  • Strong academic background with a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing of the Bar in at least one state or the District of Columbia.
  • Ability to become admitted to the Bar in Texas.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work effectively under deadlines.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience or interest in major environmental statutes preferred.
  • RCA certification is a plus.
