Duties

• Provide comprehensive legal counsel and defense in employment law cases, including discrimination, wrongful termination, and workplace policy matters

• Handle general civil litigation defense as needed

• Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses

• Conduct and defend depositions, mediations, and arbitrations

• Engage in trial preparation and support trial teams in courtroom proceedings

• Maintain timely communication with clients, counsel, and courts across jurisdictions

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective case strategies and legal outcomes

Requirements

• Active law licenses in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey

• Minimum of 2 years of legal practice experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in employment defense

• Proficiency in litigation procedures, legal research, and case management

• Demonstrated ability to independently handle caseload from intake through resolution

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Bar admission in Pennsylvania

• Bar admission in New Jersey
