A law firm in Oakland, CA, seeks a dedicated and experienced Supervised Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney to join its team. The successful candidate will manage a significant caseload and oversee a team of Case Managers, providing comprehensive client service and collaborating with various departments to ensure successful case outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a significant caseload and oversee a team of Case Managers.
  • Provide informative and compassionate client service to all clients.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments, including Property Damage, Case Management, Demands/Negotiation, and Liens.
  • Communicate daily with clients regarding legal strategy and treatment plans.
  • Analyze fact patterns to help clear coverage and establish liability.
  • Negotiate and settle cases in the pre-litigation stage.
  • Supervise, guide, and counsel team members to ensure optimal performance and professional growth.

Requirements:

  • Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Personal Injury law.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to supervise and provide guidance and counsel to a team.
  • Experience in settling cases in the pre-litigation stage.
  • Spanish fluency is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active member of the California State Bar.

Certifications:

  • Must have a current and valid license to practice law in California.
