Associate Attorney needed for St. Louis office

Job Overview:

Duties:

• Case Management:
  • Manage a portfolio of insurance, personal injury, premises, and transportation litigation files under senior partner guidance.
• Litigation:
  • Defend cases from inception through trial, including conducting depositions, drafting motions, and representing clients at court hearings.
• Client Interaction:
  • Prepare detailed status updates and trial strategy reports for clients.
• Discovery:
  • Oversee all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, production requests, and requests to admit.

Requirements:

• Licensed and in good standing with the Missouri Bar.
• An Illinois license is preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in civil defense.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proactive approach to seeking guidance and feedback.
• Solid research and analytical skills, with experience in depositions and litigation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Missouri; Illinois license preferred.
