General Liability Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks experienced General Liability Associates to join its expanding practice in downtown Atlanta, GA. This role focuses on a diverse caseload that includes product liability, consumer litigation, construction, trucking, and transportation liability, as well as personal and bodily injury liability.

Duties

• Manage litigation matters from inception to resolution, focusing on general liability cases.
• Conduct depositions and attend court appearances to advocate for clients.
• Prepare and argue motions, ensuring thorough preparation and strategy.
• Handle all aspects of discovery, including document production and witness interviews.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Analyze complex legal issues and develop effective defense strategies.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working at a defense law firm.

Education

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in Georgia.
