A law firm seeks an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join its dedicated Estates and Trusts group in Los Angeles, CA. This full-time position involves working closely with high-net-worth clients, providing exceptional estate planning services and guidance.

Duties

  • Lead in-person meetings with clients to discuss estate planning needs and strategies.
  • Draft and prepare various estate planning documents, from basic to sophisticated, including those involving estate and income tax planning and irrevocable trusts.
  • Administer probate estates, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and personalized service.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.

Requirements

  • A minimum of ten years of experience practicing trusts and estates law.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and foster client relationships.
  • Expertise in addressing the planning needs of high-net-worth individuals.
  • Proven proficiency in drafting complex estate planning documents.
  • Experience in probate estate administration.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the California State Bar is required.
