A law firm seeks an experienced Immigration Attorney to join its growing team in Jacksonville, FL. This position offers an opportunity to manage a diverse caseload while providing high-quality legal representation in immigration law. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience and a passion for serving clients in this area of law. This position provides a collaborative environment with strong support from paralegals and legal assistants. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Duties:

  • Manage and oversee a caseload focused on immigration law, ensuring timely and efficient progress.
  • Provide clients with high-quality legal counsel on various immigration matters, including visas, green cards, asylum, and naturalization.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates, answer questions, and offer guidance throughout the legal process.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Review case files, prepare legal documents, and represent clients before immigration authorities as needed.
  • Monitor and supervise the work of support staff, providing direction and oversight.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in immigration law.
  • Licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain positive client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a full caseload.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Florida Bar, or eligibility to practice in Florida.

Skills:
