The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English/Spanish), detail-oriented, and organized, with substantial courtroom trial experience. The role involves active participation in all aspects of the litigation process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the litigation partner to develop and execute strategies for prosecuting personal injury claims.
  • Represent clients in court, including presenting cases, examining witnesses, and delivering arguments.
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
  • Manage case files and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case records and documentation.
  • Attend court appearances and other legal proceedings as required.
  • Stay current with relevant legal developments and changes in the law.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar and in good standing.
  • 2-3 years of experience in litigation, preferably with a State Attorney’s Office, Public Defender’s Office, or in Insurance Defense.
  • Proven courtroom trial experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Strong detail orientation and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in legal research and writing.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Florida Bar.
