A law firm in Cleveland, OH is seeking a self-starter Attorney with 3-7 years of experience in civil litigation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defending a variety of litigated matters, including auto accidents, premises liability claims, construction defects, product liability claims, and other civil matters from inception through trial. The successful candidate will have the ability to handle complex cases independently and effectively.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle the defense of diverse litigated matters from case inception through trial.
• Manage cases involving auto accidents, premises liability claims, construction defects, product liability, and other civil disputes.
• Develop and implement case strategies, including preparation for trial and negotiations.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and depositions.
• Collaborate with clients, experts, and colleagues to build strong case arguments.
• Maintain and manage case files, ensuring timely updates and compliance with legal procedures.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex legal issues.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice in the state of Ohio.
• 3-7 years of experience in civil litigation.
