Duties:

• Evaluate new cases and develop action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
• Assess pleading requirements and delegate tasks to support staff.
• Manage discovery responses and oversee document production.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing comprehensive reports.
• Negotiate settlements, secure necessary authority, and prepare for trial when required.
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure efficient case management.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of practice experience in Workers' Compensation or related areas.
• Licensed to practice law in Georgia.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients, colleagues, and staff.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn new systems.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent degree.

Certifications:

• Valid Bar License in the state of Georgia.
