A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a skilled General Litigation Associate Attorney with experience in general litigation and basic business and real estate transactions. This role involves overseeing a portfolio of real estate ownership documents and representing clients in various legal proceedings, with opportunities for career advancement and a collaborative team environment.

Job Duties:

  • Manage and oversee a portfolio of real estate ownership documents and related transactions, including limited liability company ownership and operating agreements, loan documents, mortgages, and equity agreements.
  • Represent clients in calls, conferences, agency proceedings, and court actions.
  • Prepare cases for trial and provide trial support as appropriate for your level of experience.
  • Support client development and marketing efforts in collaboration with partners.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Communicate effectively with the court, clients, and opposing counsel through strong writing skills.
  • Organize and manage a varied caseload with attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Massachusetts.
  • 3-8 years of experience as an attorney in general litigation and business/real estate transactions.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage portfolio documents and diverse caseload.
  • Excellent writing skills to communicate effectively in legal documents and correspondence.

Education:
