Duties

  • Draft and negotiate definitive and ancillary documents for M&A transactions.
  • Manage the deal process from start to finish, ensuring all aspects of transactions are efficiently executed.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, providing strategic legal advice on M&A matters.
  • Supervise and mentor junior associates, providing guidance and feedback on work product.
  • Handle daily demands and workflow related to various M&A matters, ensuring high-quality legal service for clients.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop legal strategies and solutions for complex M&A transactions.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in M&A law, including both public and private transactions.
  • Proven ability to draft and negotiate M&A transaction documents, such as stock and asset purchase agreements.
  • Experience in managing client relationships and handling the day-to-day needs of clients.
  • Ability to supervise junior associates and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the State Bar (California).

Skills

  • Expertise in M&A transactions, including deal structuring, negotiation, and documentation.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent client communication and relationship management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
