Civil Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Pasadena, CA is seeking a dedicated Civil Litigation Associate Attorney with expertise in employment law, business litigation, and real estate matters. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and technical skills to effectively manage a diverse caseload.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of civil litigation cases, including employment law disputes, business litigation, and real estate matters.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
• Maintain client relationships through effective communication and client service.
• Utilize technical skills in word processing, database management, and Excel for case management and analysis.
• Bilingual proficiency (if applicable) to assist in communication with clients or witnesses is a plus.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California Bar in good standing.
• 2+ years of experience in business and employment litigation, including trial experience.
• 2+ years of experience in law & motion practice.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in word processing and database management software.
• Experience with Excel for case analysis and management.
