Job Overview: A well-established law firm based in Brunswick, GA, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Workers' Compensation Attorney to join their team. Duties:

  • Manage and oversee new client files from the opening stage, establishing initial contact and maintaining consistent communication throughout the case process.
  • Investigate cases thoroughly, gathering and analyzing intake information, documents, and evidence, entering relevant details into the case management system.
  • Verify insurance coverage and identify liability issues while staying in close contact with the insurance company to ensure timely resolution.
  • Coordinate and oversee clients' medical care, ensuring smooth communication between clients, medical providers, and the legal team. Schedule medical appointments and explain associated documentation and procedures.
  • Continuously monitor case progress and maintain up-to-date records of medical and legal information.
  • Organize and maintain case files and prepare documentation for submission to demand writers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Workers' Compensation law.
  • Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a strong focus on building client relationships.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Consistent record of attendance, reliability, and integrity.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in phone communication for extended periods.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited university.
  • Admission to the Georgia Bar.

Certifications:

  • Bar membership in good standing.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
  • Proficiency in case management software and general office tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster collaborative working relationships.
