Trial Attorney

San Francisco office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a trial attorney with 7+ years of litigation or regulatory experience. The candidate will regularly represent a party in a trial and argue the clients case for them. Will examine all the necessary evidence, research laws, and study judicial decisions that are relevant to the case at hand. Regularly meet with their clients to discuss their options and the strategy that is going to be taken once at the trial. Must independently comply with all administrative billing requirements and consistently meet minimum annual hours obligation; and Must be working towards mastery in their field of expertise in the firm, ex. litigation, compliance, etc. Must adhere to firm policies and procedures, ensure accountability with those systems, and take initiative in developing and implementing new systems and procedures for daily management. Must have admittance to the Bar and be in good standing in all jurisdictions. Must have experience in all stages of litigation, including trial preparation and trial and appeals. Should have mastery of the civil rules in the jurisdictions in which one practices and an expert understanding of all principles of law routinely relied upon in the firms primary practice areas.

The candidate should have a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Must be able to manage cases independently and effectively prioritize and meet deadlines. Must comply with all firm administrative requirements. Able to work as a team with attorneys and other colleagues and manage junior employees is required. Superior written and oral communication skills and attention to detail are needed.
