  • Provide legal counsel in areas including General Municipal Law, Land Use, CEQA, Public Transactions, and Code Enforcement.

  • Represent municipal clients in administrative hearings, public meetings, and court proceedings.
  • Advise clients on compliance with state and federal regulations affecting municipal operations.
  • Engage in public transactions and negotiations on behalf of municipal entities.
  • Conduct research and provide strategic guidance on land use, zoning, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with municipal staff, officials, and other stakeholders to deliver sound legal advice.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in General Municipal Law or related areas such as Land Use, CEQA, or Code Enforcement.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple legal matters for public agency clients.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar.

Certifications:

  • California State Bar License (required).

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of municipal law, land use, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and analysis.
