Appellate Attorney for San Diego Office

Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a highly skilled and motivated appellate attorney to join its Motions, Writs, and Appeals (MWA) team. This role involves high-level legal research, drafting, and advocacy in complex cases across various practice areas, including personal injury, consumer rights, environmental law, civil rights, and mass torts. This position is based in San Diego, with remote work options available.

Duties:

• Prepare and draft sophisticated motions and appellate briefs.

• Conduct in-depth legal research on complex legal issues.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on litigation strategy.

• Represent clients in appellate proceedings and court appearances as necessary.

• Provide legal analysis and contribute to case strategy discussions.

• Assist in developing legal arguments in high-profile and precedent-setting cases.

• Work closely with trial teams to ensure strong litigation positioning.
