Duties

  • Provide accurate and timely legal counsel on a variety of topics to executives and management
  • Keep up-to-date with legal developments and contribute to the enhancement of the firm's knowledge base
  • Collaborate with management to design and implement effective defense strategies
  • Offer proactive risk management advice to address potential legal issues
  • Negotiate and communicate with external parties such as regulators, external counsel, and public authorities
  • Draft, review, and solidify contracts, agreements, and legal documents to protect the firm’s legal rights
  • Handle complex legal matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Uphold high ethical standards and conduct work with integrity and responsibility
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of legislative changes and update internal governance policies accordingly
  • Monitor compliance with internal policies and legal standards

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Arkansas
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to navigate complex legal matters and deliver clear, actionable advice
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience interacting with external parties
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong ethical foundation and commitment to integrity in legal practice

Education

  • Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD)
