Location

Duties

• Manage insurance defense cases, including bodily injury and construction defect claims

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents

• Conduct depositions, oral arguments, and hearings

• Negotiate settlements and manage client reporting

• Represent clients in court proceedings and mediations

• Independently handle legal appearances and case assignments with minimal supervision

• Collaborate with legal teams to develop litigation strategies

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in insurance defense litigation (preferred)

• Extensive experience in bodily injury defense, construction defect, and other insurance defense matters

• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas (additional state licensure is a plus)
