Mid-level Litigation Associate

A law firm is seeking a mid-level Litigation Associate with 2-4 years of experience in employment law to join its Sacramento office. Location:

Duties:

• Handle discovery, prepare motions, conduct depositions and interviews.
• Support partners in pretrial litigation work.
• Provide legal research, counseling, and advice on employment matters such as hiring, firing, and compensation.
• Manage and organize multiple cases and tasks simultaneously.
• Work collaboratively with senior attorneys to develop legal strategies.
• Participate in class/representative action cases, if applicable.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of litigation experience, with a preference for employment litigation and class/representative action experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse audiences.
• Initiative and willingness to learn with sound judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Current member of the California State Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in the State of California.
