Duties

• Handle legal matters in areas such as:
  • Construction transactions and litigation
  • Commercial and residential real estate law
  • Business litigation and transactions
• Participate actively in deposition, law and motion practice, and, for more experienced attorneys, trial proceedings
• Develop and expand practice areas and participate in partnership opportunities
• Represent clients with integrity and advocacy, ensuring their interests and needs are prioritized

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas
• Mid-level attorneys: Significant experience in deposition and law and motion practice
• Experienced attorneys: Extensive experience in deposition, law and motion practice, and trial work

Education

• Juris Doctorate from a reputable law school
• High academic achievement preferred
• Judicial clerkships or board certification in construction or employment law considered a strong advantage

Certifications

• Texas State Bar License (preferred)
• Board certification in construction or employment law is advantageous
