Job Title: Business Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Oklahoma City, OK, is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join its Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) practice. This role is ideal for individuals with substantial experience in transactional law, including mergers and acquisitions, public finance, trusts and estates, commercial real estate, corporate law, or secured finance. Candidates will have the opportunity to work on complex, high-value transactions in a dynamic legal environment.

Duties:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate acquisition agreements and other documents for complex M&A and private equity transactions.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on various transactional matters.
  • Conduct due diligence to assess legal risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients, other attorneys, and stakeholders to achieve successful transaction outcomes.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in transactional law.
  • Proficient in drafting and analyzing legal documents related to mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • License to practice law in the state of Oklahoma.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active and in good standing with the Oklahoma State Bar.

Skills:
