Litigation Associate

Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking a highly motivated Litigation Associate with 3-4 years of experience in commercial and business litigation to join their Century City office. Duties:

• Draft pleadings, briefs, correspondence, and responses to written discovery.
• Conduct depositions, participate in oral arguments, and assist in trial/arbitration preparation.
• Manage and track case progress, ensuring deadlines are met and cases are properly organized.
• Provide support in legal research and case analysis.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Collaborate with a team to develop case strategies and resolutions.
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and consistency in work product.

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of experience in commercial and business litigation.
• Strong case management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Experience in drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses.
• Proven experience with depositions, oral arguments, and trial/arbitration preparation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong oral advocacy, communication, and writing skills.
• A high level of academic achievement.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of California is required.
