• Take and defend depositions, ensuring thorough fact-finding and preparation.
• Conduct legal research and draft persuasive motions, pleadings, and other court documents.
• Lead complex fact investigations and provide strategic legal advice.
• Collaborate with the broader team on multi-faceted employment cases.
• Take ownership of cases, managing them with minimal oversight.

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of litigation experience, particularly in labor and employment law or similar fields.
• Proficiency in California labor laws, including wage and hour laws, discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination claims.
• Strong understanding of all phases of litigation.
• Experience in general commercial or civil litigation with an interest in transitioning to employment law is considered.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
