Workers Rights/Employment Law Attorney

Job Overview:

A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a skilled Worker's Rights/Employment Law Attorney licensed to practice law in the State of California or anticipates licensure soon. Duties:

• Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including disputes involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, and other claims.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on various employment law matters.
• Draft and review employment agreements, severance agreements, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on developments in employment law.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation and arbitration proceedings.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California, with active and good standing membership.
• Experience practicing employment law, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Strong litigation skills and experience handling employment litigation matters.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to client service and ethical practice.

Certifications:
