Job Overview

A prominent law firm in Nashville, TN, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Trial Attorney. This role involves managing a high-volume caseload, engaging directly with clients, and leading litigation efforts to secure favorable outcomes. Duties

• Case Management: Handle approximately 150 cases, with 50 in active litigation each month, from intake through resolution.
• Client Interaction: Maintain proactive and transparent communication to keep clients informed and supported throughout the process.
• Litigation Activities: Conduct depositions, draft/respond to motions, lead mediations, and craft case strategies.
• Trial Advocacy: Act as lead counsel in jury trials, passionately presenting cases to achieve optimal results for clients.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 3 years practicing personal injury or civil litigation (5-8 years preferred).
• Trial Expertise: Minimum of 5 first-chair jury trial verdicts (10+ preferred). Proficiency in the Rules of Civil Procedure and Evidence.
• Bar Licensure: Active member in good standing with the Tennessee State Bar; additional state admissions are a plus.
• Communication: Strong ability to articulate strategies and collaborate with clients and team members effectively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Bar membership in Tennessee, with additional State Bar certifications preferred.
