The firm focuses on commercial collections, civil litigation, and personal injury, serving a diverse range of clients from individuals to large corporations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and passionate about providing exceptional client service. Duties:

  • Represent clients in civil litigation, including drafting legal documents, motions, and pleadings.
  • Handle commercial collections cases and advocate on behalf of clients in negotiations and court proceedings.
  • Provide legal counsel in areas such as construction law, employment/labor law, administrative law, environmental law, and business law.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure the best strategies and solutions for clients.
  • Maintain open and clear communication with clients throughout the legal process.
  • Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials on behalf of clients.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of practical legal experience.
  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina (required).
  • Experience or interest in civil litigation, commercial collections, construction law, employment/labor law, administrative law, environmental law, and/or business law.
  • Strong work ethic with the desire to serve clients and meet their legal needs.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in North Carolina (required).
