Job Overview
A prestigious law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Litigation group in Washington, DC. This role offers the opportunity to engage in significant litigation work while collaborating with a dynamic team of legal professionals. The ideal candidate will contribute to high-stakes cases, working with clients and experts to shape effective legal strategies.

Duties

  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide legal guidance.
  • Supervise and mentor junior associates, fostering their professional growth.
  • Collaborate with experts to develop case strategies and gather essential evidence.
  • Assist development and deposition preparation, ensuring thorough case analysis.
  • Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda with precision.
  • Contribute to case strategy discussions, leveraging analytical skills and industry knowledge.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, ideally within an AmLaw 100 firm.
  • Strong academic credentials, including a JD from a nationally recognized law school, along with an MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology degree.
  • Admission to practice in Washington, DC.
  • Proven experience in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation, particularly in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD)
  • Strong academic performance from a nationally recognized institution.

Certifications

  • Active Bar admission in Washington, DC.
