Job Title: Insurance Defense Associate Attorney (Mid-Level to Senior)

Duties:

• Handle all aspects of defense litigation cases, including drafting pleadings and discovery demands.
• Conduct depositions and perform thorough legal research.
• Draft dispositive motions and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court and communicate effectively with opposing counsel and clients.
• Provide legal advice and recommendations based on in-depth case analysis.
• Stay updated with the rules and procedures of Florida Courts.
• Assist in preparing cases for trial and handling trials when necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of defense litigation experience.
• Strong deposition and trial experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Florida's legal system, rules, and court procedures.
• Proficiency in legal research, writing, and communication.
• Ability to draft pleadings, handle discovery, and prepare for trial.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
• Additional bar licenses in other jurisdictions are a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Florida (required).
• Admission to other State Bars (preferred ).
