Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is looking for a Real Estate Associate to join its team in Ohio. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience in commercial real estate law, with expertise in one or more of the following areas: commercial real estate development, purchases and sales, corporate real estate, leasing, and mortgage lending. Duties:

  • Handle commercial real estate transactions, including development, purchases and sales, corporate real estate, leasing, and mortgage lending.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts and agreements.

  • Provide legal counsel and guidance on real estate matters to clients.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

  • Manage multiple transactions and responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in commercial real estate law.

  • Proven ability to manage and handle multiple real estate transactions simultaneously.

  • Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to establish and maintain solid relationships with clients and peers.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

  • Strong academic performance.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Ohio or be willing to seek licensure.

Skills:

  • Expertise in commercial real estate development, purchases and sales, corporate real estate, leasing, and mortgage lending.

  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and contract review skills.
