We are seeking junior to mid-level Associate Attorneys to join the mortgage finance practice in our Charlotte office. This position is ideal for candidates with 2 to 5 years of experience in banking and finance, specifically related to mortgage origination, warehouse financing, securitization, and related transactions involving commercial and residential mortgage loans.

Duties:

  • Support the mortgage finance group in various legal transactions.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to mortgage finance.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including loan agreements and securitization documents.
  • Collaborate with team members on mortgage-related transactions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and legal guidance.

Requirements:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in banking and finance law, with a focus on mortgage finance preferred.
  • Experience with mortgage origination, warehouse financing, and securitization is a plus.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school (graduation years 2019 to 2022).

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction.
